I’m not trying to step on any toes, and I will be the first to say: I AM NOT A HOMOPHOBE.  My mom watches Ellen AND Will & Grace.  However, as an educated christian conservative, I feel it is my duty to enlighten the people of the internet on why an EDUCATED PROFESSIONAL does not believe in gay marriage.  Reason one: marriage has historically been between one man and one woman.  Throughout history, in every culture, it has been the same for years.  Up until recently, homosexuality was non-existent.  Homosexuality is a recent phenomenon brought over at about the time of slavery (not saying it is a related, but it makes you think.)  Speaking of that, reason two: gay marriage will spread the AIDS.  The AIDS is a rapidly forming infection that is VERY EASILY transmitted during homo-sex.  The AIDS is deadly, I know I don’t want my future children to be infected, so I stand proud as a non-supporter.  Think of the kids!  The future of America!  Reason 3: gay marriage encourages homo-sex.  The beauty of discouraging gay marriage is that it has been PROVEN (in multiple studies) to prevent homosexuals from having sex.  The logic is:  ”If I can’t get married, I obviously am not gay, therefore I will not have homo-sex.” It is basic psychology, ask any psychologist. Reason four:  Okay, I know the libbers like Ellen like to make fun of this one, but it is fact.  It is a slippery slope, folks (and no, I am not talking about lesdyke sex..lol) If we allow two men and two men to get married, who is to say it can’t be 50 men and a 13-year-old white girl?  Who is to say it won’t be 2 guys, a girl, and a pizza place?  This is a valid argument, because it is valid.  I don’t want to bring God too much into this, because I am giving an educated response from a scientific POV (that is “point of view”), however, the good book said it itself when it proclaimed ADAM AND EVE, NOT ADAM AND STEVE. I don’t mean to offend anyone here, I just needed to get this off my chest and say my piece.

Okay, so I need to voice my opinion on this because APPROVE of gay marriage.
Reason 1: Whether marriage has always been viewed between a man and a woman, does not mean each gender can marry someone of their same sex. It’s a matter of choice, you can’t help who you fall in love with or if you find one sex more appealing than the other. That’s just the way it is. Homosexuality has always existed, it wasn’t just plucked out of the sky, it just wasn’t noticed as much. Nobody really knew much about it, I guess, so it was let be.
Reason 2: AIDS can be passed in straight relationships, it’s not just homosexuals that spread it. It doesn’t matter if they get married, if one partner has AIDS in the marriage then they can prevent themselves from spreading it to their other half. AIDS is more likely to spread if a person is not married, gay or straight, because they could sleep with a number of people and it could spread that way.
Reason 3: ”If I can’t get married, I obviously am not gay, therefore I will not have homo-sex.” - This is not true. If you can’t get married, that does not mean you’re not gay and even if they can’t get married they can still have as much sex as they want. With their partner or with whoever they want to have sex with. Marriage should be a matter of choice, it shouldn’t be a legal battle because of who you want to get married to. Everyone should be able to get married, whenever, wherever, to whoever they like.
Reason 4: Okay this annoyed me, how is two men, or two women, getting married in any way like 50 men marrying a 13 year old girl. That is pretty much saying it is sick, wrong, pretty much pedophilia. Two men, or two women, getting married is just like a man and a women getting married. It’s not like they’re a completely different species, they are just normal people who fell in love with someone of their own sex and want the opportunity to marry that person. That’s a normal, acceptable thing. Also, so what if it’s ‘Adam and Eve’ who cares? It was just Adam & Eve, they had no choice but to be with each other to create the human race. After that, it was a matter of choice. You could chose who you wanted to be with because you weren’t restricted to one person. I’m not christian, so let me show you this way.
Look at it this way: If ‘Adam and Eve’ was a correct theory, which we cannot prove, then they would be the mother and father of the world. They created children, then their children created children and so on and so forth. This would be INCEST. I may be wrong with this, but isn’t incest a wrong doing in Christianity? So you can’t go ahead and bash gay marriage when you haven’t looked at the theory of life you follow. Okay? Done. Now I’m angry.

Our friend Kelly definitely wins this argument. Whether you are a man loving a man or a women loving a man, whatever it may be, LOVE IS LOVE. Love is NOT different between people. People who are Gay, Bisexual, or Lesbian are NOT a different species, they are NOT aliens. They deserve the same respect and rights as all straight people do. I am such an active member in such things as this because, I myself, am Bisexual and a dedicated Christ Follower. Such ignorance as this is what is poisoning our world and our children. If you want to think of the children, bash down the lead wall that’s trapping your brain, it’s losing oxygen.
